With Instagram Stories a relatively new prospect at the time, we pioneered a new approach to branded content in this space. Interstitial elements combined with unique content bridged the gap between the high end, established world of The Crown and this new social space. ’Tap to lay the table’ and other in-world royal elements helped elevate the live elements of the premiere.
Using cinematic quality content in the mobile-first environment of Snapchat and Instagram Stories was a first at the time, and helped introduce a relatively unknown cast to a Netflix audience with cute, on-brand snippets that raised awareness of a new, untested Netflix Original property
